That’s right!

An easy life is definitely not equal to a happy life! Strangely, it seems to lie in the very nature of human beings to be habitual. Habits don’t take much effort and provide some comfort because through habits everything stays the same. But being “stuck” as I warned for below, and chosing the easiest possible ways in combination with unchanging habits are often rich soil for discontentment and lack of progress!
To dare to explore new possibilites include taking risks, but this is the key to learning and advancing in all aspects of life! Risking, falling, getting up, looking for new possibilites is the natural life cycle of people who make it in life. Because those who “cycle” don’t always fall when taking that risk! Their cycles are interrupted by the sweetness of success once in a while too!
I believe that people who tend to choose the easiest way or get stuck in their habits lack the ability to fully appreciate the good and beautiful things and moments in life to the full extent that a “cycler” can!
Every new and hard earned experience from breaking free from easy, stuck, and habit may not always end in success, but you still reap the benefits of growing in insight, wisdom, and understanding.
So, your daughter was right! Learning from her mom is great and wise, however, her desire to try her own ways, risking to make her own mistakes in life will hopefully make her a “cycler”!
Taking full ownership of your failures precedes having full ownership of your success!

arguing with that defiant cart! I was working hard at trying to focus on what I was doing instead and pretended that I didn’t hear the horrible noise that came from the wheels. I’ll soon be out of here, I told myself.
